My First Video Starring My Toy Poodle

July 24th, 2007 Posted in Video, Daily

Hey guys,

This post was supposed to be up yesterday, but I had trouble with encoding the video in the right formats.

Anyway, I wanted to get a hang of video editing, so I decided to create a video about one of my dogs, Sessan. Sessan is Swedish for princess. She is a miniature poodle.

The original video was as little longer, but I cut some parts out to make it more appealing to the ADD crowd. I don’t think the video is anything special, but I think it came out very well. I love the background music, as it makes it all sentimental.

My main is concern is that I don’t make videos that may only appeal to myself since it is my dog and I on camera. I also don’t want to make typical home videos that are usually quite boring except for maybe 10-15 seconds at a time.

Let me know what you think. This was practice for all of my future videos for my other websites. You should expect many videos from me because I think they are more effective than words. The visual element is just one more factor that makes things just that much more memorable. However, you can also turn people away if you don’t do it correctly.

I hope you’re doing well. Until we meet next time, goodbye and farewell.

Carl

P.S. I find it quite annoying that my face is the image that shows up on YouTube. My dog is much cuter than me.
